I obviously have no idea what I'm doing, and I'm a little mortified that this site can actually be found when I do a search (which is the only reason I'm here now. I hate being reminded of MY BIG PLANS THAT HAVE GONE NOWHERE.). So I feel obligated, to myself anyway, that I should "update" this thing.
This is it.
There is nothing else.
At some point I hope to actually have the time to play around and figure out what I want to do here. In the mean time I need to figure out how to make this site invisible...

Vacationing in the 60's
This page was originally blank and stayed that way for over two years. Today I noticed that someone, most likely inadvertently, ended up here. For some odd reason I felt like I owed them an explanation even though I can pretty much guess that they won't be coming back.
I originally started all of this to try and document some of my great memories of summer vacations in the 60's. It didn't work out that way. Either a lack of ambition or a lack of time took over and this site sat empty.
When I took Jake to his first year of college in the fall of 2010, I knew I had to find something to keep myself from going crazy or spiraling down in a depression so I started to jot a few things down. Writing helped.... kind of.
After several other odds and ends, I did get around to start writing some brief and poorly written (it goes without saying...yet I say it anyway) stories from vacations past. At least they are how I remember it. My brother and sisters may remember it differently, but they lie.
If you have any interest, you can look here and then poke around.There's more somewhere.
I apologize in advance for the lack of cohesion, poor grammar, arbitrary punctuation, etc, that you will have to put up with only to discover pretty boring anecdotes.
