Continuing with our holiday decorating, tonight, Sam and I decorated the banister.
To say Sam was a big help is an understatement. After getting him started with each strand of lights and then garland, Sam did much of it himself. All it took from me was some prompting (when he got stuck) and a lot of positive affirmation.
It's great to have help and he did a great job.
As I've mentioned many, many times, Sam has support from several different groups. Lately, the one he seems to be the most active with is The United Arc.
Every other Thursday (usually) they offer some kind of activity which Sam may or may not participate in. It seems like more often than not, he chooses to go - and he is (almost always) glad he did.
Tonight, he made a lovely centerpiece which I will put in a place of honor on our dining room table - as soon as I clear a spot.
Last night, Sam and I started our (my) annual decoration of the house for Christmas.
Sam has helped me with this every year but this year, I let him decide which decorations to use. This turned out to mean using pretty much every decoration I showed him.
We have more decorations to put out but they'll have to wait for another day. We ran out of nighttime.
Not sure what this is about...
Sam and I didn't get up to the Tower as often as we did in years past.
This was once one of our longer walks but in recent years, it's been eclipsed by pretty much every other walk we go on.
Still, we managed to make it back before they lock the gates for the season.
