In Today's News

Here's a link to a story in today's news. A little while back, someone hacked into former President Bush's email and posted, among other things, some of the "artwork" the former prez had been creating. There might be more to the story, but I didn't bother to read the whole article.

The part I did read says this guy was arrested for, ""reasonable suspicion" that he "repeatedly and illegally accessed, breaking security rules, email accounts belonging to public persons in Romania with the aim of getting electronic mail confidential data.". I didn't know that was illegal in Romania.
Now, I'm not going to criticize Mr. Bush's artistic talent. I feel like we have an unspoken agreement that if I don't badmouth his art, he won't badmouth my writing. So far, it's worked out fine.

What I want to know is, why are the cops in the photo hiding their faces with ski masks? They're acting like they just caught the biggest terrorist in the world. Are these guys afraid of retribution against their families? By who? By people who are now denied their God given right to see the former President's talent on display? Are there snipers on the roofs? Have they set up road blocks so no one tries to bust this guy free? What's the big deal?

If someone out there takes the time to read the article and finds an explanation, I would appreciate it if you would let me know.
